Nissi

Nissi is the resort area built around Nissi Beach, Ayia Napa's most famous stretch of powdery white sand and shallow turquoise water on Cyprus's southeastern coast. Lined with large resort hotels, beach bars and holiday apartment complexes, it is a magnet for summer visitors and a centre of the town's beach-event and sunset-party scene. The area sits a short distance west of the harbour and town centre. For buyers, Nissi offers beachfront and near-beach holiday apartments with very strong short-let demand during the long Mediterranean season. Cyprus is an EU member with relatively open property purchase for foreigners, though non-EU buyers need Council of Ministers permission and are subject to area limits.
